"The Theseus-EDHEC MBA programme is condensed into a highly intensive 10-month period, which inevitably simulates the real business world. An example of this is the Global Business Module, which brings us to Morocco and India to provide a real international learning experience on an executive level. As I expected before entering the MBA programme, our courses are highly interactive with lots of group work and practical case studies. We confront different issues from Accounting to Human Resource Management both in class and outside in group projects. It is common for my class mates and me to work together well after office hours to find the solutions. That is real business life!

I choose the MBA at EDHEC Business School as I had first hand experience with the School when I did the MSc in Finance four years ago. After graduating from that programme, I passed all CFA exams in 2005 and was taken on by KPMG and American Appraisal.

In these companies, my responsibilities were to provide consulting services and financial valuation services to clients. Because most of the clients were multinational companies and companies to be listed in NYSE, I learned a lot from the communications with top executives from multinational companies and investment banks.

Gradually, my professional objectives became clearer; I wanted to set up my own business in financial consulting. However, I knew that to manage a company would be totally different from doing business for a company. I needed general management knowledge in topics such as organisational behavior, human resource management and marketing so an MBA programme seemed the obvious choice. As I had satisfied the three year professional experience required to apply for the Theseus-EDHEC MBA, I sent my application and after an interview with the programme director I was finally accepted.
