FAQ - MBA Consulting Project

What are the advantages of becoming a sponsor?

When your company sponsors a team of MBA students, you get:

  • Fresh minds and new insights
  • Objective advice Multi-cultural perspectives
  • Agreed and concrete project deliverables and deadlines
  • A 50% scholarship for one of your employees for the 2008-2009 MBA class

You will also get expert advice from MBA faculty members who are professionals with considerable consulting experience. They play a key role in defining the project with the sponsor and in monitoring and guiding the teams' progress.

When does the project take place?

In two phases: 1 week in April and 8 weeks in May/June

Where does it take place?

Participants are available to come to any of your sites or can work from EDHEC Business School

How much does it cost?

10,000 Euros, payable in two installments (50% at the start of the project in March, 50% upon completion at the end of June).

What additional costs are involved?

 The sponsoring company is also responsible for expenses (e.g., travel, accommodation, etc.) related to the project and incurred by the MBA participants and the faculty supervisor assigned to the project. The projects are undertaken by teams of three to four MBA participants under the guidance of a Faculty supervisor. A budget for expenses is discussed with the client company in the first week of the assignment.

Please send a description of the project you have in mind (objective, sponsor, expectations, skills requirements, language, expertise, team location...) as soon as possible. She will then contact your company to discuss the project.

In early March, we will have all the elements from all the parties involved (the client, the students and the Faculty) to be able to appoint the team members and the Faculty director.
