etudiants edhec lilleThe Master in Management at EDHEC Business School is a flexible two-year full-time post-graduate business degree programme, known in France as the "Grande Ecole" programme. It provides management training for the most promising students.

This business programme is a perfect blend of academic excellence and hands-on experience, combining theoretical coursework, case studies, group work and in-company placements.

The Master in Management programme can be followed in either English or French , on our campus in Lille or Nice. It offers  a double degree as the second year of this programme is in fact a specialised Master of Science (MSc) degree. Students can therefore obtain EDHEC's Master in Management degree and a Master of Science degree.

SPECIALISED TRACKS


A specialist MiM option for Finance
The Financial Economics Track, is entirely taught in English on our campus in Nice.It provides general business knowledge and develops managerial competencies. It leads to a specialisation in Year 2 through the choice of an MSc programme in Finance, Corporate Finance, Risk & Asset Management or Capital Markets .

A specialised MiM option for European students
The European Apprenticeship Track,   alternates course work and company placements and is a popular option for  French-speaking European candidates interested in alternating study and hands-on experience.

STUDY / WORK EXPERIENCE / ACADEMIC EXCHANGE


The Master in Management programme is a particularly flexible programme, allowing students to optimise their curriculum by letting them choose the internships (FE track and BM track) and academic exchanges (B M track only) that meet their needs.The duration of internships and/or academic exchange varies and students can design their curriculum to fit their professional plans by choosing optional courses to complement mandatory courses. 

Whatever track students choose, students gain invaluable experience and develop their expertise. The School's Careers Service provides students with precious help and advice and handles over 14 000 internship offers each year.     

Gap Year

A popular option to meet internship requirements is to take a one-year break after Year 1 to work in a company or work on a personal project.  More than 80% of students choose this option. 


In addition to academic courses, graduation requirements for the Master in Management include:

  • 12 month internship
  • 4-6 months abroad in internship or academic exchange
  • A master thesis
     

Master Level


YEAR 2 OPTIONS

Students choose the degree they wish to pursue in their final year. This year involves a specialisation in a particular field.

Option 1
Students choose to study in French or English on the Busines Management campus in Lille. They can opt for a Major in the field of their choice if they choose to study in French in Year 2 or can opt for a Master of Science (MSc)  degree if they prefer to study in English in Year 2.


Option 2
Students choose to study in English on the Financial Economics campus in Nice. They follow their final year in the Master of Science (MSc) programme of their choice in a Finance related field and are awarded a double degree: Master in Management and Master of Science.


Option 3
Students in Lille can choose to follow an international exchange programme . Some of EDHEC's partner institutions offer their own degree, enabling students to graduate with a double degree: The Master in Management from EDHEC and the Master in Management of the exchange school.
